A bit about flower essences
A bit about flower essences.
Flower essences carry the vibration, the frequency, of a flower. They are energetic imprints of the wisdom the flower offers.
They are not to be confused with herbal tinctures or essential oils; they contain no scent or perfume. Flower essences are energetic medicine, vibrational in nature, similar to homeopathic remedies.
Flower Essences are FULL OF GRACE
If you have a deep love for flowers, you will likely enjoy working with the flower essences - they will for sure like working with YOU!
How they are made:
Flower essences are created via partnership and cooperation with the spirits of the flower kingdom. They are made by placing flowers in water and letting them infuse in sunlight. This is done with the permission of the plant, and while taking care not to disturb the plant or its surroundings. The co-creator of the essence meditates with the spirit of the flower, asking it to transfer its blessing into the water. After this process is complete, the water blessed by the flower becomes the “mother essence” which is preserved (usually with alcohol) and then is further diluted to create the “stock bottles” which you buy in the store.
How they work:
Working with flower essences is a willing engagement with the flowers and the healing wisdom they offer. The energy signature of the flower works with your subtle energy system. The healing properties of the flower harmonize with your light body and this healing can integrate on a very deep level. Flower essences are often experienced as a very gentle and soothing ally in personal healing.
How to use flower essences:
They are very easy to use – you cannot overdo a flower essence. Since they have no medicinal herbal properties they don’t have chemical interactions with medications.
A standard dosage is 3-5 drops. They can be taken orally from a dropper bottle, or you can mix them into your water bottle. You can also put them in your bath, or lotions, or spritz them in the air … My favorite way to work with them is to put them in my water bottle. That way, every time I drink throughout the day, I am getting a dose of the essence.
(Make sure not to touch the dropper to your mouth, or to anything else. If you do, then just rinse it off before putting it back into the bottle.)
Flower essences in your first aid kit:
If you’ve never used the essences before, an excellent doorway into the experience is Rescue Remedy. It is a blend of flowers that help take the edge off during times of stress, trauma, or emergency. (Rescue Remedy is really easy to find: at grocery stores, health food spots, etc.) I keep it in my purse, my car, my first aid box, earthquake kit, etc.
